Residue, 2017. Cold-cast pencil lead. 35’ x 16’ x 6” Illegally captured molds of two street corners near my adolescent home in North Long Beach, California. One of the corners (Northwest intersection of California Ave/South Street) was originally constructed in 1938 and has since been repaired by multiple companies. The other (Northwest intersection of Lime Ave/South Street) had been built in recent years. They are placed in the same respective orientation, though much closer together.
